Navigating CoresPro

  1. Use the left menu to switch between Customers, Proposals, Tasks, and other records.
  2. Use the search bar at the top of any list page to find a record by name, id, or status.
  3. Click any row to open its detail page; the breadcrumb shows where you are.
  4. Browser back/forward navigates between tabs you visited inside a detail page.

Editing a record

  1. On a detail page, click the Edit button at the top right.
  2. Make your changes - required fields are marked with a red asterisk.
  3. Click Save to commit, or Cancel to discard.
  4. Some fields are read-only because they are workflow-controlled. You cannot edit those directly.
  5. After saving, the audit log captures who changed what and when.

Working with Tasks

  1. Open the Tasks tab on any Proposal or other record that has tasks.
  2. Drag a card between columns to change its status - no edit mode needed.
  3. Click "+ New Task" to create a new task assigned to a teammate.
  4. Click a task name to open the full detail page where you can comment, change the assignee, or set a due date.
  5. Tasks can be linked to any business object - the Linked Record card on the task shows where it came from.

Comments, mentions, reactions, and replies

  1. Open the Discussion section on any record to talk to your team in context.
  2. Type @ to start a mention - pick the teammate from the dropdown.
  3. Mentioned users get a notification immediately.
  4. Click the smiley face on any comment to add an emoji reaction; click Reply to start a thread.
  5. You can edit or delete your own comments via the pencil and trash icons that appear on hover.

Notifications and reminders

  1. The bell icon at the top right shows things you have been mentioned in or assigned to.
  2. Click any notification to jump to the record it refers to.
  3. Mark notifications as read individually or use "Mark all as read".
  4. Reminders for due tasks and proposals fire automatically - they appear in your bell and may also reach you by email if your administrator enabled it.

Reading the Proposal Summary tab

  1. Every Proposal has a Summary tab - start there for a quick health check.
  2. The progress bar shows how close the proposal is to completion, with hints on what to do next.
  3. The Tasks section shows In Progress, Up Next, and Recently Done at a glance.
  4. The Coaching panel surfaces specific suggestions like "margin is below target" or "no team assigned" with one-click actions.
